AboutNatalie Sea Burger — In-person Counseling & Virtual Counseling, Therapy & Couple Enhancement Workshops
t. 406-570-0345
Natalie Sea Burger is deeply honored to be a counselor in Bozeman, Montana, and offers a compassionate and judgment-free space in her therapeutic counseling practice working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Natalie brings nearly two decades of experienced counseling services to Bozeman and greater Montana, along with her warm and connected presence. Mindfulness is the foundation of her approach when tending to emotional and mental health, relationships, trauma resolution, and difficult life challenges and transitions.
Natalie Sea Burger integrates her training from the PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) Institute into her relationship counseling to help couples achieve lasting transformation and emotional intimacy. PACT therapy is a cutting-edge model that blends attachment theory, neuroscience, and developmental psychology, focusing on how early life experiences shape the ways we connect and communicate in relationships.
By using PACT principles, Natalie helps couples better understand their unconscious emotional patterns and triggers, and how these affect their relationship dynamics. This approach equips couples with tools to create secure emotional connections, improve communication, regulate emotions, and meet each partner’s needs. She uses PACT’s emphasis on attunement and responsiveness, helping partners deepen their emotional bond and resolve conflict in ways that promote healing and growth.
Natalie’s integration of PACT techniques empowers couples to move past recurring conflicts and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Through a combination of individualized strategies and a focus on the brain’s role in relationship dynamics, her clients can achieve greater trust, empathy, and satisfaction in their partnerships.
About My Training and Practice Approach
Natalie has advanced training and utilizes a client-centered stance while drawing from Bowen Theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She specializes in supporting individuals dealing with self-harm, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, relationship challenges, infertility, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, life transitions, and borderline personality disorder.
She has also received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and is skilled in treating trauma with Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Natalie’s passion lies in couples therapy, where she helps partners achieve healing, connection, and intimacy. Her current studies with the Stan Tatkin PACT Institute support her expertise in integrating attachment theory, developmental neuroscience, and arousal regulation into her work.
Natalie earned her BS in Family Studies from the University of Kentucky, and relocated to Bozeman, Montana, in 1997. She worked with Reach Inc., the Gallatin Mental Health Center, and completed her graduate studies at Montana State University, earning a Master's degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling.
